(Tannersville, NY - November 4, 2020) - Edward Ullmann, CEO and Chief Pharmacist at Wellness Rx Pharmacy LLC, 5980 Main Street, Tannersville NY has received acclaim as a ‘Faces of Pharmacy’ award winner by Pharmacy Times Continuing Education™ (PTCE), a leader in continuing education for multispecialty pharmacists and pharmacy professionals.
Ullmann and four other outstanding pharmacists have been recognized by PTCE in October for excellence in his field and his significant contributions to his community.
“It is great to see that a community-based pharmacy in rural America can be recognized for providing needed services and access to natural medicine to patients outside the traditional scope of retail pharmacy,” said Edward Ullmann.
Ullmann, a current board member on the President's Advisory Council at the Albany School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, has returned to his Pharmacy roots and supports the health needs of the Catskill Mountains region. Approached several years ago by the region's leaders, Ed accepted the challenge to bring his vision, knowledge and wisdom to an area underserved by the Pharmacy and Wellness industry.
Since then, he created and grew the Wellness Rx Pharmacy into a trusted member of this rural community where health decisions are often needed immediately. Many patients and customers often travel up to 30-40 miles to receive specific attention and care from him.
